Latvian-Ukrainian vibraphonist Andrei Pushkarev is one of the most thought after and versatile solo percussionists today. His repertoire consists solely of his own arrangements and treatments for solo vibraphone, as well as for chamber compositions and for vibraphone and orchestra.

His mission is to prove that vibraphone is not only a jazz instrument, not only a color in a symphony orchestra, but an independent instrument with its own unique palette of sounds and timbres.

His chamber partners on the stage are Gidon Kremer, Yo Yo Ma, Martha Argerich, Vadim Repin, Sol Gabetta, Julian Rachlin, Lucas Debargue and many others.
